The chemical equations in which gas is evolved are as follows:

1) 3Fe(s) + 4H2O(g)---- Fe3O4(s) + 4H2(g)

2) Ca(s) + 2H2O(l)---- Ca(OH)2 (aq)+ H2(g)

3) 2HCL + K---- 2Kcl + H2

4) 2K + 2H2O---- 2KOH + H2

5) 2Mg + 2H2O---- 2Mg(OH)2 + H2

Hope this helps you...!!

some chemical reactions take place with the evolution of gas .They are :-

1) Zn (s) + H2SO4 ( dil ) --> ZnSO4 ( aq ) + H2 ( g )

2) Na2CO3 + H2SO4 ( aq ) --> Na2SO4 ( aq ) + H2O + CO2

3) FeS + H2SO4 --> FeSO4 + H2S

4) 2KCIO3 --> 2KCI + 3 O2

5) Zn + 2HCl --> ZnCl2 + H2

hope this will help uh ....
