Parenchyma
1.They are fundamental and primitive
2.At maturity,they are living
3.Shape-Oval,spherical,polygonal
4.Cell wall are thin and made of cellulose and pectin
5.Intercellular space-present
6.Functions-Storage,conduction,photosynthesis and prevent from transpiration
7.Present in all plant parts
Sclerenchyma
1.They are mechanical tissue.
2.At maturity,they are non-living.
3.Shape-stone,rod,bone,star,hair and spindle shaped.
4.Cell wall is thick and made of cellulose and lignin.
5.Inter cellular gaps are absent.
6.Functions-Rigidity,strength,stiffness,support.
7.Present in seed coat,fruits,seeds.
