Pressure groups do not take partin the elections; they only support the political party of their choice. ... Pressure groups are not accountable to the general public, whereas political parties are accountable to the people for the work performed by them for the welfare of general public.

Presure group
1.there membership is limited.
2.they are an informal institution.
Political party
1.the membership of political parties is very broad based.
2.political parties are a formal institution.
