A speaker is also a audio output device but it is used in the range of many persons in the nearby.

Differences between Headphone and Speaker:

  • A headphone allows only one person to allow to the audio whereas a speaker can allow many people to allow to the audio.

  • If the audio should not be disturbing to other users a headphone is used whereas if everyone need to hear the audio a speaker is used.

  • Headphones give a good bass as they are near to the ears but speakers also give good sound but not as much as compared to headphones.

  • The number of drivers in headphones are less in number whereas a speaker has many drivers for bass, tebs and many more

  • In speaker where you insert wires is called cabinet whereas in a headphone it is housing
