It helps us to asses the impact of human presence on environment .. for example take glacier melting. It is due to human activity i.e., due to temperature rise which in turn was caused by industrial pollution, vehicular pollution, GHGs etc .

This will create rise in sea level due to which coastal areas get submerged into sea

studying environmental geography helps us in environmental planning, design, and restoration, as well as in environmental assessment and monitoring, resource management, natural areas preservation, and outdoor and environmental education
