Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

Explanation:

When we eat food it enters through our mouth were physical digestion takes place. In our mouth teeth are present which helps in the breakdown of food into smaller pieces. Then our food mixes with saliva which is present in our mouth. It helps to digest the food easily. Then in our mouth salivary gland is present which secrets salivary amylase, which helps in the digestion of proteins present in the food. Then the enters oesophagus. When the food enters through the oesophagus, the oesophagus contracts and relaxes this movement is known as peristaltic movement.

Then the food enters the stomach .

In our stomach HCL(Hydrochloric acid) is present . Which makes the alkaline food acidic so that the enzymes can act easily on the food and digest them . In our stomach mucus is present which protects the inner lining of the stomach from its own secretion of HCL. In stomach partial digestion of food takes place. Then this partially digested food goes from the stomach to the small intestine. The exit of the food is regulated by the sphincter muscles which releases the food in small amounts into the small intestine.

When the partially digested food enters the stomach it receives the secretion from two glands namely liver and pancreas.

Liver secrets bile which breaks down fat present in the food. It makes the acidic food alkaline in nature so that the enzymes can act on it easily.

And the pancreas secretes pancreatic juice which contains digestive enzymes like pancreatic amylase, trypsin, and lipase.

The enzyme amylase breaks down starch, the enzyme trypsin digests proteins and the enzyme lipase digests fat.

And then the didested food are absorbed by the blood....
