Electron-dot structure : It shows the bonding between the atoms of a molecule and it also shows the unpaired electrons present in the molecule.

As we know that, carbon has '4' valence electrons, hydrogen has '1' valence electron, sulfur and oxygen has '6' valence electrons and fluorine has '7' valence electrons.

Therefore, the total number of valence electrons in ethanoic acid, C_2O_2H_4 = 2(4) + 2(6) + 6(1) = 26

The total number of valence electrons in hydrogen sulfide, H_2S = 2(1) +1(6) = 8

The total number of valence electrons in propanone, C_3O_H_6 = 3(4) + 1(6) + 6(1) = 24

The total number of valence electrons in fluorine gas, F_2 = 2(7) = 14
