5. Draw the graph of the equation, 2x + y = 6. Find the coordinates of the point where the graph cuts the x-axis. ​

In this Q first we have to make either x dependent or y. As there is 1 cofficient in y we will make y depending on x

y= 6 - 2x

For x = 0 , y = 6

For x = 1 , y = 4

For x = 2 , y = 2

For x = 3 , y = 0

Therefore solutions are (0,6)(1,4)(2,2)(3,0)

Now plot the graph.

(0,6) lies on y axis

(1,4) lies in first quadrant

(2,2) also in first

(3,0) on x axis
