Acidic salts Ex- NH4Cl, NH4NO3, BaSO4 H2SO4, HNO3 and HCl.

Basic salts EX -Calcium carbonate (CaCO3), Sodium acetate (NaOOCCH3) ,Potassium cyanide (KCN),sodium acetate, lithium carbonate, potassium carbonate, calcium carbonate, etc.

Neutral salts EX-sodium chloride (NaCl), ammonium sulfate [(NH4)2(SO4)], and magnesium sulfate (MgSO4). .

An acidic salt is a salt which has TWO POSITIVE IONS out of which one is a H+ ion and the other is any other positive ion, and it also has a negative ion other than OH-.

Example:-NaHCO3, KHSO4

A basic salt is a salt which contains TWO NEGATIVE IONS out of which one is OH- and one positive ion other than H+.

Example:-Cu(OH)Cl ( Basic copper chloride), Pb(OH)Cl

A normal salt is a salt which contains a positive ion other than H+ and a negative ion other than OH-.

Example:-NaCl, MgCl2
