Hey!

1. The climate of the Thar desert is extreme. It becomes too hot during the day and too cold during the night. Summers are above 50° and winters are below 
0°.
2. It has sparse plant life and mostly small animals are found here.
3. The gulches present here flood when it rains.
4. It has large sand dunes and has sandy soil in texture.
5. The only small river flowing in it is Luni. There are a number of salt water lakes here.

2. The Thar Desert extends between the Aravalli Hills in the north-east, the Great Rann of Kutch along the coast and the alluvial plains of the Indus River in the west and Northwest.

3.Most of the desert is covered by huge shifting sand dunes that receive sediments from the alluvial plains and the coast.

4. It experiences arid type of climate sometimes
