*In 2002 General pervez musharraf held a referendum(public voting) in the country that granted him a 5-yr extension
*Even though the people elected their representatives..., the final/major desicion were not taken by their representatives
*The power to take final and major decision rests with the military officials and General Musharraf
*This happens only in dictatorship and monarchies
*They formally have an elected parliament and government but the real powers are with army officials and General Musharraf rather than with the elected people..
*From this we can clearly say that Pakistan was a non democratic government under General Musharraf.
