PORIFERA
Perifera includes lowest of multicellular animals commonly called sponges.
All sponges are aquatic mostly marine, few are freshwater.
They are mostly asymmetrical animals.
They have a water transport system.
They are primitive organisms with cellular level of organization.
They reproduce sexually by formation of gametes and asexually by budding or fragmentation.
Example : Spongilla, Euspongia and sycon.
ARTHROPODA
They are largest phylum of animal kingdom.
They are Triploblastic, bilaterally symmetrical and metamerically segmented.
Body is divisible into head, throx and abdomen.
Muscles are mostly striated and digestive system is complete.
Circulatory system is open type with a dorsal heart, arteries and blood sinuses.
Sexual dimorphism is exhibited. Fertilization is usually Internal.
Example : Apis, Aedes, Locusts, Butterfly, scorpions,. etc
