PORIFERA

\leadsto Perifera includes lowest of multicellular animals commonly called sponges.

\leadsto All sponges are aquatic mostly marine, few are freshwater.

\leadsto They are mostly asymmetrical animals.

\leadsto They have a water transport system.

\leadsto They are primitive organisms with cellular level of organization.

\leadsto They reproduce sexually by formation of gametes and asexually by budding or fragmentation.
