  • When current flows in the first coil, current is induced in the second coil - Electromagnetic induction.

  • As per Lenz's law , direction of the electric current which is induced in a conductor by a changing magnetic field is such that the magnetic field created by the induced current opposes changes in the initial magnetic field.

  • Since the current in the first coil is along ABC, in the second it will be the opposite,i.e, along CBA .
