5. Find the area of a Quadrilateral, whose diagonal is 12 cm and the
perpendiculars from the opposite vertices are 4 cm and 3 cm.​

Again in triangle ABC

Base = AC = 12

Height = BM = 3

Area = 1/2 × b × h

=> 1/2 × 12 × 3

=> 18 Sq cm

Now total area of quad ABCD = Area of triangle ADC + Area of triangle ABC

=>( 24 + 18 ) Sq cm

=> 42 Sq cm
