If the number 5461 has remainder 1, you need to check for 5461 - 1, and like wise, you need to check for 5882 - 2 and 6303 - 3. So the numbers you now have are 5460, 5880 and 6300. now, Find the GCF of these numbers:

5460 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 7 x 13

5880 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 7 x 7

6300 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 5 x 7

now all of these have 2 x 2 x 5 common, so take it out

GCF = 2 x 2 x 5

5460 = 3 x 7 x 13

5880 = 2 x 3 x 7 x 7

6300 = 3 x 3 x 5 x 7

now all have 3 * 7 common, so take that out

GCF = 20  x 3 x 7

5460 = 13

5880 = 2 x 7

6300 = 3 x 5

Now there is nothing common, so multiply everything in the GCF

GCF = 20 x 3 x 7

        = 420
