csa = 2(l+b)h

= 2(40+30)*25

=3500cm^2

TSA= 2(lb+bh+lh)

= 2(40*30+30*25+40*25)

Answer :

  • Lateral surface area = 3500 cm²
  • Total surface area = 5820 cm²

Step-by-step explanation :

To Find,

  • The lateral surface area of cuboid
  • The total surface area of cuboid

Solution,

Given that,

  • Length = 40cm
  • Breadth = 30cm
  • Height = 25cm

  • Lateral surface area of cuboid,

As we know that,

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2 [ ( l + b ) × h ]

Where,

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth
  • h = Height

➮ 2 [ ( 40 + 30 ) × 25 ]

➮ 2 [ 70 × 25 ]

➮ 2 × 1750

➮ 3500

Hence, the lateral surface area of cuboid is 3500cm².

  • Total surface area of cuboid,

As we know that,

Total surface area of cuboid = 2 ( lb + bh + lh )

Where,

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth
  • h = Height

➮ 2 ( 40 × 30 + 30 × 25 + 25 × 40 )

➮ 2 ( 1200 + 750 + 960 )

➮ 2 × 2910

➮ 5820

Hence, the total surface area of cuboid is 5820cm².
