the reminder is 1.

This shows that 100 square< 10001

the next perfect square number is 1001 square=10201.

so we should add 10201-10001=200 to 10001 to get the least perfect square number of five digits.

hence the required perfect square is (1000+200)=10201.

√10201=10001.
