Answer:

perimeter of ABE is

perimeter of traingle is-(sumof all sides )

so, sides given are -

AB =5/2

BE=11/4

AE=18/5

5/2cm+11/4cm+18/5cm=177/20cm

perimeter of rectangle i's - 2(L+B)

sides given ,

length -11/4(BE)

Breadth -7/6(ED)

2(11/4cm+7/6cm)

=75/6 cm.

Thus , perimeter of traingle is greater than perimeter of rectangle .

Step-by-step explanation:

i > As it is asked the perimeter of a triangle , you can add the length of all of its sides I.e. (3/2 + 11/4 + 18/5) cm

ii > Length of the rectangle is given 11/4 cm and breadth 7/6 cm so you can find the perimeter by the formula

2 × ( length + breadth ) .

After finding all the values of the perimeter you can see that whose perimeter is greater and by how much by subtracting them .
