Step-by-step explanation:

TO FIND ROOTS OF EQN

2X²+X-6 =0

SOLUTION

BY SPLIT MIDDLE TERM WE GET

2x²+4x-3x-6 = 0

2x(x+2)-3(x+2) = 0

(2x-3) (x+2) = 0

2x-3=0 , (x+2) = 0

x = 3/2 and x = -2

So 3/2 and -2 are the roots of the equation :)
