Length of rectangle given = 8cm

Breadth of rectangle given = 10cm

We know, Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)

= 2(8+10)

= 2×18 =30 cm

Now, it is given that perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square

We know, Perimeter of square = 4×L

So, here 4×L = 30 cm

L = 30/4= 7.5 cm Answer

Therefore, Side of square is 7.5 cm

Given ,

Length of rectangle = 8 cm

Breadth of rectangle = 10 cm

The perimeter of square is equal to the perimeter of rectangle

Therefore ,

=> 4 × side = 2(length + breadth)

=> 4 × side = 2(8 + 10)

=> 4 × side = 36

=> side = 36/4

=> side = 9

Hence , the side of square is 9 cm
