Answer:

l = 15 cm, b = 10 cm, h = 6 cm

total surface area = 2(lb + bh + hl)

= 2(15×10 + 10×6 + 6×15)

= 2(150 + 60 + 90)

= 2(300)

= 600 cm²

lateral surface area = 2(l+b)h

= 2(15 + 10)6

= 2×25×6

= 300 cm²

Answer:

600 cm² - T.S.A

300 cm² - L.S.A

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Length (l) = 15 cm

Breadth (b)= 10 cm

Height (h) = 6 cm

To find :

Total surface area of cuboid.

Lateral surface area of cuboid.

Solution :

T.S.A of cuboid :-

⇒ 2(lb + bh + hl)

  • 2(15×10 + 10×6 + 6×15)
  • 2(150 + 60 + 90)
  • 2(300)
  • 600

∴ Total surface area is 600 cm².

Lateral/Curved surface area :-

⇒ 2h(l + b)

  • 2×6(15 + 10)
  • 12(25)
  • 300

∴ Lateral surface area is 300 cm².
