Answer:

Factoring  x2-11x+33

The first term is,  x2  its coefficient is  1 .

The middle term is,  -11x  its coefficient is  -11 .

The last term, "the constant", is  +33

Step-1 : Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant   1 • 33 = 33

Step-2 : Find two factors of  33  whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is   -11 .

     -33    +    -1    =    -34

     -11    +    -3    =    -14

     -3    +    -11    =    -14

     -1    +    -33    =    -34

     1    +    33    =    34

     3    +    11    =    14

     11    +    3    =    14

     33    +    1    =    34

Observation : No two such factors can be found !!

Conclusion : Trinomial can not be factored
