As per question, when we walk, there is a frictional force come in action between the floor/ground and our feets( depends Whether you're walking bare foots or with slippers)

There are tiny space present in between the surface of the floor and our feets which get interlocked to each other and helps us to stand on the floor freely and move on it and thereby, the floor exerts equal and opposite force on our feets or shoes which helps us to move forward or backward without falling due to the interlocking between the two surfaces.
