1.) Particles of gas have negligible intermolecular forces. They move randomly in any direction. Hence when gas is pumped in a vessel, it's particle moves randomly and fills the vessel completely
2.) As the particles of gas moves randomly, they bump each other. The particles hits the wall of the container with some amount of force. Hence, the gas exerts pressure on the walls of the container.
3.) A wooden table fulfills all the properties of solid. A wooden table has a fixed shape and volume. They are incompressible and rigid. Hence, a wooden table should be considered as a solid.
