Answer:

SCIENTIFIC REASONS ARE DISCUSSED BELOW.

Explanation:

(A) - Sound always needs medium to travel.

And Sound travels more faster in medium whose particles are close to each other.

NOW, The sound produced by striking two stones under water can be heard outside clearly because sound travels faster in liquid than in air. As particles of liquid are close to each other than particles of gases.

(B) - Sound is always produced by a Vibrating body.

Now, Internal structure of a Bicycle Bell is designed such so that its internal parts vibrate to produce sound. But as we place our hand on the bell then it's part stops vibrating, thus if there is no vibration then the sound also stops.

(C) - In humans their vocal cords are responsible for production of sound by them.

The voice of a woman is generally shriller than that of a man because the size of vocal cords in women is smaller than size of vocal cords in men.

(D) - Echo is the phenomenan of reflection of sound.

An echo is not heard in a small room but it can be heard in hills near ravines because the sound is not reflected back in a small room but it easily reflects in a big area.

(E) - An aeroplane is a massive body with many internal parts.A large number of trees are planted around an airport so as to prevent the loud sound produced by aeroplanes.

(F) - An auditorium have a big area, thus echoes can take place there. The presence of echoes in auditorium will unable people to hear the actual sound. The walls and ceiling of a large auditorium are covered with sound absorbing material so as to prevent the production of echoes.
