9.92 gram of O2 reamin

Explanation:

2H2 + O2 --------> 2 H2O

moles of H2 present = 5 ÷ 2 = 2.5 mole

moles of O2 present = 50÷ 32 = 1.56 mole

=> 2 mole H2 react with 1mole of O2

=> 2.5 mole H2 will react with => (1/2)×2.5 = 1.25 moles of O2

therefore H2 is limiting reactant

O2 will remain in access/ unreacted

mole of O2 remain = 1.56 - 1.25 = 0.31 moles

mass of O2 remain = 0.31×32 = 9.92 gram
