Solution:

For the given condition find the distance covered by Harpreet in the given time span

we use the formula

Speed = Distance / Time

Distance covered When the Speed is 5Km/h

Time = 4 hr 12 min = 21/5 hr

• Speed = Distance / Time
• 5 = Distance/21/5
• Distance = 5*(12/5)
• Distance = 12 km

Time taken when the speed is 7km/h

Distance = 21 km

• Speed = Distance / Time
• 7 = 21 / time
• Time = 21/7
• Time = 3 hr

The time required  to cover the same distance at the speed of 7 km/h is 3 Hours
