5. The king and the hermit removed the wounded man's clothing, washed and dressed his wound.

6. (i) The bearded man was the enemy of the king who swore revenge on him.

(ii) Because he (king) saved his life.

7. The king showed his forgiveness by making peace and friendship with him. He (king) said that he would send his servants and his own doctors to look after him and promised to give his property back to him.

8. The hermit saod that the most important person is the person who you are with a particular time; the most important business is to do good deeds;
