Answer:

Temperature is a measure of the average heat or thermal energy of the molecules in a substance. The atoms and molecules in a substance do not always travel at the same speed. The relationship between molecular motion and temperature is that the higher the molecular motion, the higher the temperature is measure of the average heat or thermal energy of the molecules in a substance do not always travel at the same speed

Molecular Motion and Temperature

A matter is consists of moving particles which can interact with each other more or less strongly. The motion of these particles is increased on raising temperature. This is so because on increasing temperature the kinetic energy of molecules are increases and thus they move faster. Similarly on lowering temperature, the motion of particles are reduced.
