A Simple HTML Document

The <body> element defines the document's body, and is a container for all the visible contents, such as headings, paragraphs, images, hyperlinks, tables, lists, etc. The <h1> element defines a large heading. The <p> element defines a paragraph.

An HTML document is based on a file containing hypertext markup language. In HTML, tags, or hidden keywords, tell processing programs, often Web browsers, how to display text. There are three categories of HTML: transitional, strict, and frameset.
