Given cell is a Plant cell

Identification:

  • A = Mitochondrion
  • B = Nucleus
  • C = Vacuole

Know more:

  • Mitochondria are called power houses of cells because these are the sites of synthesis of energy rich ATP molecules by cellular respiration.
  • Nucleus is also called the director of cell or brain of cell because it controls most of the cellular activities.
  • Vacuole act as storage sacs of water, sugar, mineral etc.

  • Cell is called the basic structural and functional unit of life. All the living organisms are made up of cells.

  • On the basic of presence of pigments, Cells are categorised into two type i.e Plant cell and Animal cell.

Basic difference between Plant cell and Animal cell:

  • Cell wall is present in Plant cell and it is the outermost covering layer where, Cell wall isn't present in Animal cell and outermost covering layer is Plasma membrane.

  • In plant cell, Single and Large vacuole present where, In Animal cells, Many and small Vacuoles are present.

  • Centriole is absent in Plant cells but Present in Animal cells.

  • Nucleus is present in both Plant and Animal cells but in plant cell, it is present as excentric (Not on centre) But in Animal cell, it is present as Centric (On centre).

  • Mitochondria is present in less numbers in Plant cells but are more in Anima cells.
