Hi there !

Question :- If 4p = -20+8p, then the value of p is ______.

Answer :-

The Linear Equation is Given here. Apply Transposition Method to get your answer!

Transposition :- It is used to move the same kind of variables at a same place.

So,

4p \:  =  - 20 + 8p

Then, We will take 8p to LHS.

So,

4p - 8p =  - 20

We will subtract 4 from 8 and we will put the sign.

 - 4p =  - 20

We will take -4 to the RHS.

p =  \frac{ - 20}{ - 4}

Minus will get cancelled.

p =  \frac{20}{4}

Divide 20 by 4.

p = 5

Hence, Value Of P is 5.
