  • Value of k when, given here (5,2)

Now,

If x = 5, and y = 2, solution of this equation

so, satisfies equation for this value .

So , keep value of x and y in this equation .

\implies\:(k\times5\:+\:4\times2)\:=\:33

\implies\:(5k+8)\:=\:33

\implies\:(5k)\:=\:(33-8)

\implies\:k\:=\cancel{\frac{25}{5}}

\implies\bold{\red{\boxed{\boxed{\:k\:=\:5}}}}Ans.
