Given :-

A:B = 3:5

B:C = 4:7

Explanation :-

Let , the B of A:B be B¹

and the B of B:C be B²

So, first we have to do the L.C.M of B¹ and B²

L.C.M of 5 and 4 = 20.

Now, we have to equalize the A and C.

A = \frac{3×4}{5×4} = \frac{12}{20} = 12:20

C = \frac{4×5}{7×5}=\frac{20}{35}=20:35

As , we have equalized all of them , A:B:C =

12:20:35.

There is another easy way , but only use it when there is M.C.Q .

Here it is :-

A : B¹

B² : C

Now , fill in the data .

3 : 5

4 : 7

Now , multiply the A × B² and B¹ × B² and B¹ to to C.

So, let's see ,

3×4 = 12 ( A)

5×4 = 20 ( B)

7 × 5 = 35 ( C)

So, A :B:C = 12:20:35.

Hope it helps friend !
