Since ABCD is a parallelogram, AB∥DC and AD∥BC

Now, AB∥DC and transversal BD intersects them.

∴∠ABD=∠BDC since alternate angles are equal.

⇒10x=60

⇒x=

60

=6

And, AD∥BC and transversal BD intersects them.

∴∠DBC=∠ADB

⇒4y=28

⇒y=

Answer:

Use linear equation in 2 variable

x+5y=50

x=50-5y.....(1)

now, 2x-y=20

2(50-5y)-y=20

y=80/11

substitute in (1)

x=150/11

ar=x,base=y

height= ar/base

=150/11*11/80

=15/8
