Given,

If efficiency is doubled, days required = 12 days

To Find,

If efficiency is reduced to one-third then days required  =?

Solution,

Let days required to finish work with normal efficiency = x days

If efficeincy is doubled then days will be x / 2

According to question, x / 2 = 12 days

x = 12 * 2 = 24 days

If efficiency is reduced by one-third, the days required will be 3x

Days required  = 3 * 24 = 72 days

Hence, If my efficiency is reduced to one-third of what it is at present, then 72 days will be required to finish the work. Option(d) is correct answer.
