→ If the selling price of a chair is 4/5bof its cost price then the loss percent is ?

 \tt{ \underline{✪ \:  ᴀɴsᴡᴇʀ : ✪}}

→ Let the cost price of an item be x

→ We are given that the selling price of an article is

 \tt{\frac{4}{5}th}

of it's cost price

 \tt{→ SP \:  of  \: an \:  item = \frac{4}{5}x }

 \tt{→ Loss = CP - SP = x-\frac{4}{5}x=\frac{1}{5}x }

 \tt{→ Loss\%= \frac{loss}{CP} \times 100 }

 \tt{→ Loss\% = \frac{\frac{1}{5}x}{x} \times 100 }

 \tt{→ Loss\% = \frac{\frac{1}{5}}{1}\times 100 }

 \tt{→ Loss\% = 20\%}

→ Hence the loss% is 20%
