5. In a bag there are 10 blue marbles, 20 green
marbles and 15 yellow marbles. Find the
probability of getting
(i) a blue marble.
(ii) a green marble.
(iii) a yellow marble.
(iv) a marble which is not green.
(v) a marble which is not blue.
(vi) a marble which is not yellow.​

blue=10

green= 20

yellow=15

Total no of marbles = 10+20+15 = 45

p(getting color) = no of color marbles/ total no of marbles

i) p(blue) = 10/45= 2/9

ii) p (green) = 20/45 = 4/9

iii) p(yellow) = 15/45 = 3/9 = 1/3

p (not getting color)= no of other color marbles/ total no of marbles

iv) p(not green) = 10+15/45 = 25/45 = 5/9

v) p(not blue)= 20+15/45 =35/45 = 7/9

vi) p(not yellow) = 10+20/45 = 30/45 = 2/3
