5. In a group of 100 birds, 85 had a long beak, 45 had
grey feathers and 38 had both a long beak and
grey feathers. How many did not have a long beak
and did not have grey feathers?​

YOUR ANSWER:

No. of birds = 100

No. of birds having a long beak = 85

No. of birds having grey feathers = 45

No. of birds having both a long beak and grey feathers = 38

So, no. of birds not having both a long beak and grey feathers = (85+45) - 38 = 130 - 38

=>92

Therefore, no. of birds not having a long beak = 92-85

=> 7

And no. of birds not having grey feathers = 92 - 45

=> 27

If we add this so and will come 120 but the group of birds is 100
