5. In a reaction 4.6g of barium chloride reacts with 3.4g of sodium sulphate. The products were
2.8g of sodium chloride and 5.2 g of barium sulphate. The reaction takes place as follows.
Barium chloride + Sodium sulphate → Barium sulphate + Sodium chloride.
Show that the above observation is in agreement with the law of conservation of mass. State the
law.
