5. In a right-angled triangle ABC, ZB = 90°. If the longest side is 3 cm more than the middle side and
the middle side is 3 cm more than the shortest one then find the sides of the triangle.​

Let the shortest size be x

Therefore,

middle size = x+3

longest size = x+3+3 = x+6

According to the question,

x+x+3+x+6 = 180

3x = 180 - 9

x = 171/3

x = 57

Shortest size = 57 cm

middle size = 57+3 = 60 cm

longest size = 57+6 = 63 cm
