5. In a true – false test containing 50 questions, a student is to be awarded 2 marks for every correct answer,-2 for every incorrect answer and zero for not attempting any question. If Yash secured 94 marks in a test, what are the possibilities of his marking correct or wrong answer?

He attempts 49 questions of which 48 is right and 1 wrong.

So 96 marks for right answer and -2 for wrong answer.

So final marks is 94.

No. Of questions asked = 50
No of marks for correct answers = 2 marks
No. Of marks for incorrect answer = - 2 marks.

Total no of marks secured = 94

He answered 47 as correct answers

And 3 wrong answers.
