ABCD is a parallelogram

To Prove -

AB = 2 BC

Proof -

ABCD is a parallelogram

A + D + B + C = 180°

From the aeb we have,

 =  >  \:  \frac{a}{2}  +  \frac{b}{2}  + e = 180

 =  >  \: a -  \frac{a}{2}  + d + e = 180

 =  >  \: a + d + e = 180 +  \frac{a}{2}

 =  >  \: e =  \frac{a}{2}

Again,

e =  \frac{b}{2}

Now,

ab = de + ec

 =  >  \: ad + bc

 =  >  \: 2bc \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: (since \: ad = bc)

Hence proved
