In above reaction the FeCl3 get reduced because it oxidation Number is getting reduced.

In FeCl3 the oxidation number is 3 but in 2FeCl2 the oxidation number is 2 hence, the oxidation number is getting reduced.

And FeCl3 goes under reduced and the reactant which undergoes reduction acts as Oxidising agent.

The Oxidising agent are those substance which itself get reduced but oxidised other substance.

Also,

Their is decreasment of electronegative radicals from FeCl3 hence it is getting reduced.
