By Pythagoras theorem,
Hypotenuse =√ Base^2 + √height^2
BC = √AB^2 + √AC^2
AC = √BC^2 - √ AB^2
AC = √7cm^2 -√ 6cm^2
AC = (√ 49 - √ 36) cm
AC = √13cm
Then, the Area of ∆ ABC = 1/2 × base × height
= 1/2 × 6cm × √13cm
= 12√ 13cm^2
