key features of Federalism are:
1- there are two or More tiers of government.
2- to change the fundamental provision of the constitution require the consent of both the levels of government.
3- the existence and authority of each tier of government is constitutionally guaranteed.
4- the federal system also has dual objectives.... i.e.,to safeguard and to promote unity of the country.
5- an ideal federal system must have mutual trust and agreement to live together.
