Answer:

lets 1 kg of sugar type A, and 5 kg of sugar type B are mixed together in the ratio 1:5 .

Now,

Total quantity of sugar to be sold = 1+5 = 6 Kg.

Cost of type A (1 Kg) sugar = 1 *5 = 5 Rs

Cost of type B (5 Kg)sugar = 5 *6 = 30 Rs

Total cost of 6 Kg sugar to be sold = 5+30 = 35 Rs

Cost Price = 35

Profit = 20%

So, Selling Price = 35 + 35*(20/100) = 35 + (35/5) = 42 Rs.

42 is the S.P of 6 Kgs Sugar.

So, per Kg S.P of sugar = 42/6 = 7 Rs.
