Answer;  each of a pair of curved cells (known as guard cells) surround a stoma, becoming larger or smaller according to the pressure within the cells. the irregular cells which cover up the rest of the space are secondary cells. the Stomata has two main functions, namely they allow for gas exchange acting as an entryway for carbon dioxide (CO2) and releasing the Oxygen (O2) that we breath. The other main function is regulating water movement through transpiration. As the main constituent of plant biomass, secondary cell walls are central to attempts to generate second-generation biofuels.

hope this helped :)
