Nitin Jairam Gadkari (/nitin ɡʌdkʌˈri/ (About this soundlisten); (born 27 May 1957) is an Indian politician relected 2nd Term in 2019 in 17th Lok Sabha [1] and the current Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises[2] in the Government of India.[3] Gadkari earlier served as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party from 2010-2013.[4] He is also known for the works during his tenure as a Public Works Department Minister in the state of Maharashtra when he constructed a series of roads, highways and flyovers across the state including the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, India's first six-lane concrete, high-speed, access controlled tolled expressway.[5][6]He is MP from Nagpur.He is a lawyer and industrial from occupation.
