Answer:

5.Spores will stay dormant until there are suitable conditions. It enables an organism to float through the wrong process. Spores can be spread through air, water, or animals and are therefore good at spreading an organism to more places.

6.Aquatic animals take in the oxygen dissolved in water. The amount of dissolved oxygen in water is fairly low compared to the amount of oxygen in the air. Therefore, rate of breathing in aquatic organisms is much faster than in terrestrial organisms.

Explanation:

5. The two benefits are-

a) A large no. of spores are formed in the sporangium.

b) Reproduction through spores doesn't need male and a female reproductive organs.

6. The amount of oxygen dissolved in water is fairly less than that present in the air. Thus aquatic organisms need to breathe faster than the terrestrial organisms to keep up with their energy needs.

Thank you.
